Campari Tangerine Cocktail Mix
Bitter Campari needs the sweetness from the tangerine juice and the balance of acidity from both the tangy Grapefruit Balsamic and bright acidity from the lemon juice. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 10 Tangerines
- 1 cup Pomegranate juice
- ¼ cup Campari
- 10-12 dashes Cranberry Bitters
- ⅓ cup Grapefruit White Balsamic
- ½ cup Whiskey
- 1 Lemon juiced
- Fresh rosemary sprigs
- Sparkling water
- Ice
Instructions
- Juice tangerines through a sieve, straining pulp - about 1 1/2 -2 cups. Pour juice and all ingredients, into a large bottle, stirring well to blend well. Add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary to impart a soft herbal note. Pour ¼-⅓ cup into an ice filled glass and top with sparkling water. Garnish with a slice of orange.
Notes
If tangerines aren't available, orange juice is a great substitute. If you're especially lucky, blood oranges are incredible with this mix! Making a large cocktail mix, makes serving and transporting to any gathering much easier. If by some reason you aren't a whiskey fan (???), gin or vodka also work well in the mix - especially with the rosemary infusion.
