Cranberry Apple Cider
Double, triple - make a vat of this cider because it's incredibly cozy, perfectly balanced between sweet and tart and all things yum! You may see this combo again around here - we love the happy marriage of sweet and tart that cranberries and apple bring to the table - tradition begone! Sweet Tart lovers, this is for you! Makes enough for 3-4, but please triple the batch - you won't regret it!
Ingredients
- 4 cups Apple cider
- ½ cup Cranberries
- ½ cup Cranberry juice
- 1 tsp Whole cloves
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Cherry Jam With Wine
Instructions
- In a deep sauce pan, add apple cider, cranberry juice and cranberries and begin to warm over medium low heat. Wrap cloves and cinnamon stick in cheesecloth, tie closed and add to cider. Let simmer, but not boil for 10 minutes, then stir in Cherry Wine Jam until dissolved. Remove from heat and divide amongst 4 mugs.
