Caramel Apple Cider

Caramel Apple Cider

During the colder months, cider is often made and simmered throughout the day to keep us cozy. We each have our favourite version of apple cider, but this crowd pleaser is beautifully spiced, sweet, tart, and warms you from your hands to your soul. Apples, spice, and everything nice!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Apple cider
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 4 Cloves
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp Salted Butter Caramel Sauce
  • ½ cup Whipped cream

Instructions

  • In a deep saucepan, add apple cider and lemon juice. Tie cinnamon stick and cloves in a cheesecloth, add to cider, and warm over medium-low heat. Let simmer, but not boil, for 10 minutes. Remove cheesecloth and stir in caramel sauce to dissolve. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • Divide cider amongst 4 mugs and top each with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
